my parents tell me i cant do anything i love drums if i could i would play them for life i can sit in my room listen to my i pod and pretend to play drums for hours i really love them that much.

Am I too old to learn how to play drums?
I’m 18, Ive bin wanting to learn how to play an instrument ever since I was young but my parents never supported me plus we were very poor plus the area we lived in didn’t sponsor free instrument lessons. Now i have a fulltime job where I make a pretty good salary, so I just wanted to ask is it too late to learn drums because it is my favorite instrument, favorite part of any song and because I just love music overall and plan to enter the business.
